If by chance you see Solomon hitching a ride in Ohio this week, or anywhere in the future, here is my 5 recommendation that you give him a lift.
Unfortunately a naked Jeep at 70mph isn’t the best place to hold a conversation with someone, especially with a heavy accent, but it’s clear he has some interesting stories to tell. He came here from Ethiopia 11 years ago.
Be a good sport. Give him a ride, and collect a few stories to share since I couldn’t.

I haven’t picked a hitchhiker up in ages, but have yet to have a bad experience as long as they met my standard rules for hitchhikers.

I can think of 15, not counting people who’ve been stranded without gas that I’ve just run to the gas station and back.
The worst experience I’ve had: cleaning some mud and blood off the door of my del Sol. Guy had fallen and hurt himself, and had a long walk home.
